About Win Metta
Win Metta is a USA-based California 501(c)(3) nonprofit that preserves and shares Theravāda Buddhist teachings in Burmese and English. We serve learners in Myanmar and around the world.
What we do
- Dhamma teaching and meditation instruction in Burmese and English, including guided retreats.
- Pāḷi scripture and Burmese language classes, so more people can read the classical texts.
- Technology and administrative support for monastic communities.
Our Sayadaws
Our classes and teachings come from Sayadaws and Venerable monks based in California, Arizona, Myanmar and elsewhere. We share their teachings as given and do not rewrite them.
Free to everyone
The Dhamma Library and our teaching materials are free to use, without an account or payment.
